Landslide Investigation in Malibu, CA
Earth forensics was hired by a consulting firm to investigate potential causes of a landslide that occurred on December 2010 in Malibu, CA. A hydrogeological evaluation was performed to provide information on the local groundwater conditions as they pertain to the subject property, geophysical borehole data for the site and precipitation rates near the time of the landslide event at the subject site.
Investigation of Groundwater Contamination in Fennville, MI
Earth Forensics was hired by a national recognized plaintiff law firm to support their litigation efforts and to provide expert witness services, including an expert report for an investigation of groundwater contamination in Fennville, MI.
Investigation of a Municipal Water Supply Well in southeast Colorado
Earth Forensics was hired by a local law firm to help defend a water district and the project geologist against a lawsuit. An investigation of the drilling and completion of a municipal water well in southeast Colorado was performed.

Flooding Investigation in Thousand Palms, CA
Earth Forensics was hired by counsel on behalf of the insurance company. Multiple properties covered by the same insurance company were involved in the lawsuit. An individual property downgradient of the properties in question sued for damages from flooding during the September 8, 2014 storm in Thousand Palms, CA.
Investigation of Residential Flooding in Escondido, CA
Earth Forensics was hired by counsel on behalf of the insurance company to investigate residential flooding that occurred during storms in December 2010 and January 2011, in Escondido, CA. Several homes were flooded and upgradient properties were sued for changes made to their properties that may have increased downgradient surface water flows.
Investigation of Groundwater Contamination in Merced, CA
Earth Forensics was retained by plaintiffs in litigation for the purpose of rendering opinions in the field of hydrology/ hydrogeology as it relates to the chemicals of concern (COCs) identified as total chromium, hexavalent chromium, and arsenic emanating from a former industrial facility located in Merced, California.
